Hi, I am
Chiara
I love supporting local. In 2008, my grandfather’s restaurant didn’t have the funds to market itself and attract patrons during the recession. It was simply forgotten about. During the recent global Covid pandemic, my family and I witnessed the same happening to many local spots; they were simply forgotten about.
I understand we have Instagram, but many influencers are paid to promote places with marketing budgets for exposure. Some local spots simply lack the resources. They need people like you and me.
My grandfather lost his restaurant, and I’m on a mission to ensure that the pain he felt, losing his dream, doesn’t happen in the next pandemic. Why? Because when the next recession or pandemic comes, local places will be known to everyone. To me, there’s nothing better than visiting local favorites. Why? Because following the local way guarantees a great experience while supporting people within your community.
I mean, they wouldn’t have become town favorites if they weren’t worth your time. Trust me on this! All you have to do is read one of my guides, gather your family and friends, and be ready for a great time. P.S. Don’t forget to take a photo, check in, and support local businesses so that others can support them too.
